Betsy Ann Tendler, also goes by as Ann Tendler, is a visual artist whose work encompasses paintings, drawings, and illustrations. Her paintings are noted for their vibrant use of color, capturing both lively and subtle aspects of the human experience. Her drawings exhibit a careful attention to detail, showcasing her adeptness with line and form. Moreover, her illustrations enliven narratives, highlighting a distinctive storytelling element in her artistic portfolio.
Betsy Ann is an experienced artist with a formal background in art. She earned a B.F.A in Painting from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design in 1979, Additionally, she obtained a Degree in Graphic Design and Animation from Anthem Institute in 2010. Betsy has further refined her abilities through Plein Air Painting and studies in Classical Art at The Bucks County Classical Art Center in Bucks County Pennsylvania.
In addition to her educational endeavors, Ms. Tendler has taught Painting and Drawing to students of all ages while managing family responsibilities and continuing her artistic practice. She is certified to teach Art in NJ public Schools and did teach Drawing, Watercolor and Oil Painting to Adults in evening and weekend classes for many Years. She has illustrated three books that are available for purchase on Amazon.

Her artistic journey features mostly Watercolor, Oils, Pencil, and Ink. Influenced by esteemed artists like William Bouguereau, John Singer Sargent, and Winslow Homer, Betsy's work often reflects the tradition of representational painting, including the "Golden Age" Illustrators.
