Betsy Ann Tendler, also referred to as Ann Tendler, is an artist whose work encompasses paintings, drawings, and illustrations. Her paintings are noted for their vibrant use of color, capturing both lively and subtle aspects of the human experience. Her drawings exhibit a careful attention to detail, showcasing her adeptness with line and form. Moreover, her illustrations enliven narratives, highlighting a distinctive storytelling element in her artistic portfolio. 

Betsy Ann Tendler is an experienced artist with a formal background in art. She earned a B.F.A in Painting from the University of Michigan, along with a Semester Abroad at The Sir John Cass School of Art in London, England. Additionally, she obtained a G.D.A. in Graphic Design and Animation from Anthem Institute. Betsy has further refined her abilities through a Plein Air Workshop with Jon Redmond and studies in Classical Art at The Bucks County Classical Art Center in Bucks County Pennsylvania. 

In addition to her educational endeavors, Ms. Tendler has taught Painting and Drawing to students of various ages while managing family responsibilities and continuing her artistic practice. She has illustrated three books that are available for purchase on Amazon. Her artistic journey features the mediums of Watercolor, Oils, Pencil, and Ink. Influenced by esteemed artists like William Bouguereau, John Singer Sargent, and Winslow Homer, Betsy's work often reflects the tradition of representational painting, including the "Golden Age" Illustrators. 

Betsy's artworks, which are for sale, demonstrate her commitment to capturing the beauty of her surroundings. She prefers to work directly from life whenever feasible but skillfully employs photographs when needed.
